Airback technology – protection that responds Inspired by safety concepts from the automotive industry, TOP TEN uses air as a cushioning element in the Avantgarde. Inside the PUR foam are air-permeable cells that react instantly to every strike: they equalise the pressure in fractions of a second (airback technology) and distribute the impact energy precisely. The result is noticeably lower strain and maximum control throughout the fight. For this self-contained system to work at all times, the surface is sealed with a smooth, dense outer layer. Optimised interior construction Safe-Points at the temples and jaw protect exactly where it is needed most. A well-thought-out system of air holes and channels ensures effective cooling and rapid sweat removal – so your field of vision stays clear throughout the fight. The central bar layer over the ears reduces pressure on the eardrum from side impacts. The right size – how to measure Place a measuring tape in the middle of your forehead and run it over your ears to the back of your head. Adjustable hook-and-loop closures at the chin and neck ensure an individual fit for all head sizes.
