More information

The Competition Fight from TOP TEN is designed specifically for competitors in kickboxing and ITF taekwondo. The shell structure is designed without visual obstructions at the seams, so the field of vision stays clear during the fight. The skull and upper cervical vertebra – the most exposed points in knockout blows – are prioritised in the design. When kickboxing pioneer Georg F. Brückner worked with a German plastics manufacturer, the goal was to create an unrivalled cushioning material. The result was an open-cell PUR foam that absorbs and distributes impact energy effectively. The Technical University of Berlin tested the material through 100,000 repeated strikes – without significant signs of wear. Benefits: Tested to 100,000 strikes by the Technical University of Berlin Approved by ITF and NTN for competition No obstruction of vision at the seams Flexible back that adapts to the shape of the head Adjustable hook-and-loop at chin and neck Made in Germany NB: For use in WAKO tournaments, the headguard must have a UV-labelled strap, which is sold separately.

Questions and answers
