We at Combat Store are proud to introduce Albert as our new social media manager in the run-up to Venum Training Camp 2026. He will take you behind the scenes – from everyday life in Norway to the training sessions in Thailand – on both Instagram and TikTok.
This will be real, close-up and unfiltered. Training, progress, highs, lows and life as an active athlete on the way to one of the toughest training camps in the world.
Who is Albert?
My name is Albert, I am 20 years old and I come from Trondheim/Mo i Rana. My interest in martial arts started early – I began with taekwondo before moving on to wrestling, kickboxing and boxing. Then I stepped away from martial arts for many years.
A year and a half ago I took it up again, and I rediscovered the joy in it. Today I train Muay Thai and compete actively in the sport.
What is Venum Training Camp?
Venum Training Camp is one of the most modern training centres in the world for Muay Thai, MMA and striking. Professional athletes, amateurs and enthusiasts from all over the world gather here to train under top conditions.
- Professional coaches
- Daily Muay Thai sessions
- Strength and conditioning
- An international fighter environment
This is the place where the level is raised – both physically and mentally. Through Albert's eyes you will experience what it is actually like to live and train there.
Combat Store × Skogn Folkehøgskole
The collaboration between Combat Store and Skogn Folkehøgskole (Skogn Folk High School) started in autumn 2025, with a clear goal: to give students interested in martial arts a unique opportunity to develop – both as athletes and as people.
Combat Store is the official sponsor and equipment supplier for the programme, and throughout the year we work together on:
- Training follow-up
- Supply of high-level equipment
- Knowledge sharing
- Preparations for Venum Training Camp 2026
This means the students arrive at the camp as well prepared as possible – physically, technically and mentally.
